I bought this because I love the summery look. I see a lot of complaints about the color fading, and I do agree that it does, but I found the faded light pink color very pretty. This obviously isn't the same opinion for everyone since some people don't like that they didn't get what they asked for. As long as I kept it out of water and sweat, the gold plating stayed on.
